In his final game at Tiger Stadium, LSU quarterback Danny Etling went out victorious. The senior connected on 19-of-30 passes, for 347 yards, and three touchdowns in a Tiger 45-21 win over Texas A&M.

Etling helped LSU finish the regular season 9-3. His squad will finish in the top 20, but Purple and Gold fans have much higher goals for the program. Regardless, Head Coach Ed Orgeron thinks very highly of the Purdue transfer.

"A winner, tough, hard-nosed. Went through some bumps and bruises like we all did in life, but he fought through it. For him to stay with this team and win nine games is remarkable feat as a quarterback," said Orgeron.
