Officials seeking man accused of using stolen credit card to buy almost $300 in cigarettes

ERWINVILLE, LA (WAFB) - Officials with the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office are trying to identify a man wanted for reportedly using a stolen credit card to buy almost $300 worth of cigarettes.

According to WBRSO, on Sunday, August 27 around 3:20 a.m., the unidentified black male suspect arrived at the Tiger Trax Exxon gas station in Erwinville in a red Monte Carlo. The suspect then allegedly used a stolen credit card, which had just been taken from the victim's car, to buy $296.50 worth of cigarettes. The credit card was denied during the transaction and the two suspects fled the scene traveling west on Hwy. 190.
