PHILADELPHIA, PA (WAFB) - The Atlanta Falcons have picked former LSU linebacker Duke Riley in the third round of the NFL Draft.
Riley blossomed into a defensive leader during his senior season. Last year, he started 12 games for the Tigers, finishing with 93 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
In 2016, Riley led the Tiger defense in total tackles (93) and ranked second on team in solo tackles (40).
The linebacker from Buras, LA, played in 50 games at LSU and totaled 144 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks,three quarterback hurries, one interception and recovered two fumbles.
