Second suspect in Gonzales fatal shooting still wanted, alleged gunman behind bars

GONZALES, LA (WAFB) - A man has been arrested for his connection to the shooting death of a 27-year-old man, according to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office. However, a second suspect is still wanted.

Donovan Darville, 27, is accused of shooting and killing Clarence Harvey on Country Dr. in Gonzales around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18.

According to witnesses, Darville shot the victim and then fled the scene in a vehicle. There was also an unidentified white male in the car. He has been identified as Jerald Wall.

Officials say Wall has not yet been located. He was last seen driving a 4-door 2011 maroon Honda Accord with a Louisiana license plate XKS974.
