BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two Baton Rouge women were arrested Tuesday for reportedly attacking a women with a knife and slashing the tires of her car.
On Tuesday, April 11, Baton Rouge Police Department officers were dispatched just before 1 a.m. to an incident where the victim stated that back on March 25, one of the women, identified as Ebony Shearill, 20, tried to stab her with a knife, then used the knife to slash all four of the tires on her car.
The victim said Shearill also used a bat to break the front and rear windshields of her car and put a dent in the driver door, as well the passenger mirror. The victim claimed that when she and another woman exited an apartment on Denham St., she was attacked by Shearill, another woman, identified as Marlexis Chanta Cork, 18, and a third, unidentified woman.
Officials say a third arrest has not yet been made in this case.
The victim said that during the attack, she fell to the ground and was shot at by one of the women attacking her. The victim said she has known Cork and Shearill for approximately five years and was able to positively identify them in a lineup.
