BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man on probation for burglary is facing more serious charges after allegedly robbing a teen at gunpoint, according to investigators.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Jaelyn Williams, 19, was arrested Sunday afternoon.
According to the probable cause report, Williams allegedly pulled out a gun and started digging through the victim's pockets.
The report stated the suspect took about $60 in cash from the victim.
Police said they later found Williams. They added they also found a 9mm pistol behind a house where they had seen him.
According to the report, investigators located a cell phone with video that showed Williams pointing a gun at the victim.
The report added Williams was convicted of simple burglary on Feb. 8, 2017 and put on probation for five years.
He is charged with armed robbery and felon in possession of a firearm.
His bond is set at $90,000.
