Jared Poche' has been named one of five starting pitchers to the Perfect Game/Rawlings College Baseball Midseason All-American First Team.
The LSU ace is 6-1 this season with a 1.15 earned run average.
The senior has struck out 31 batters in 47 innings pitched and walked only 10 batters.
Poche' has started seven games, giving up a total of seven runs, six of them earned.
Southeastern Louisiana third baseman Taylor Schwaner, UL-Lafayette starting pitcher Gunner Leger and Louisiana Tech relief pitcher Nate Harris were named to the second team.
