BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Easter would not be complete with a little competitive egg hunt.
Children scattered all over the lawn of the Governor's Mansion Wednesday morning for the 20th annual Easter egg hunt. Students from the Louisiana Head Start program joined the first family for a morning of fun, outdoor activities including games, face painting, and a few other surprises along the way.
"Just to see the joy, love, and energy of these children and the excitement of being together and all the fun things at Easter and celebrating this time," said First Lady Donna Edwards.
And of course, the Easter Bunny himself was in attendance as well.
