Police arrest disgruntled juvenile who caused disturbance at group home

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Lots of police responded to a situation at a group home in downtown Baton Rouge early Wednesday morning.

The Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed the disturbance was caused by a disgruntled resident at a group home at the intersection of Main Street at North 13th Street.

Officials said officers were called out around 2 a.m.

Sgt. Don Coppola said the 16-year-old was taken into custody. He is charged with simple assault.

The scene was cleared shortly after 7 a.m.
