BREAUX BRIDGE, LA (WAFB) - Two residents of Breaux Bridge, including a three-year-old girl, have died after a tornado flipped their mobile home.

According to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office, on Sunday morning around 9:30 a.m, a trailer in the 1100 block of Zin Zin Rd in Breaux Bridge, flipped over when it was hit by an EF1 tornado.

Francine Gotch, 38, and her daughter, Neville Alexander, 3, were inside the home when it happened. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

"This weekend's severe weather has tragically taken two beautiful lives in Breaux Bridge. Please join me in prayer for the victims, their families, and all the brave first responders called to action during these storms," said Congressman Clay Higgins. "My wife and I lived in a single wide for many years. Severe storms were always a concern. Our hearts are torn for this family."

Other mobile homes on the same plot of land were not affected.

A GoFundMe account with a $5,000 goal has been created to pay for the funeral expenses. According to the page, Gotch was pregnant with a summer due date.
