FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Baton Rouge under tornado watch until 2am.

Baton Rouge is under a tornado watch until 2 a.m. and an enhanced risk for severe weather until 7 a.m.

8:50 p.m. - Tornado Watch for Avoyelles, St. Landry & St. Mary Parishes until 2 a.m. Monday.

7:35 p.m. - Storms southwest of Baton Rouge appear to be intensifying.

7:30 p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Ascension & Livingston parishes until 7:45 p.m. Sunday.

6:00 p.m. - Tornado warning for East Feliciana parish and Amite county. Radar indicating potential for tornado just north of Clinton.

4:55 p.m. - Tornado Watch for Amite, Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, Pike, St. Helena, Tangipahoa, West Baton Rouge, Wilkinson, and West Feliciana parishes until 2 a.m. Monday.

2:50 p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for St. Landry Parish until 3:15 p.m. Sunday.

1:50 p.m. - Tornado Watch for Avoyelles Parish until 9 p.m. Sunday.

12:51 p.m. - Moderate risk of excessive rainfall extending into metro Baton Rouge is valid through tomorrow morning.

11:57 a.m. - Latest tornado probabilities from the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center include potential for strong tornadoes extending into SE Louisiana.

11:37 a.m. - Rare 'High Risk' of severe weather for central/north LA. Moderate Risk now just north of Baton Rouge.

11:36 a.m. - Severe T-Storm Warning for W. Feliciana Parish until 12:00P for winds in excess of 60 mph and quarter sized hail. Storm moving NE at 25 mph.

11:29 a.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for West Feliciana Parish until 12:00 p.m. Sunday.

11:08 a.m. - New warning for winds in excess of 60 mph and quarter sized hail. Moving over New Roads now, headed for St. Francisville.

10:59 a.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Pointe Coupee and West Feliciana Parishes until 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

10:31 a.m. - Tornado Warning for Pointe Coupee Parish until 11:00 a.m. Sunday.

10:28 a.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for St. Landry Parish until 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

10:28 a.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 11 a.m. for NW portion of viewing area. Winds in excess of 60 mph and half dollar sized hail main threats.

10:14 a.m. - Tornado Warning for St. Landry Parish until 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

10:09 a.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Iberville, Pointe Coupee & West Feliciana Parishes until 11:00 a.m. Sunday.

10:06 a.m. - Rotation has been detected within t-storm near Henderson, LA. Storm track takes it into portions of Iberville and Pointe Coupee Parishes.

9:54 a.m. - Tornado Warning for St. Landry Parish until 10:30 a.m. Sunday

9:26 a.m. - Monster Severe T-Storm currently over Breaux Bridge. Moving towards WAFB viewing area. Watch for large hail with this storm.

8:52 a.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for St. Landry Parish until 09:45 a.m. Sunday.

8:13 a.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for St. Landry Parish until 09:00 a.m. Sunday.

Enhanced Risk of severe weather remains in place for metro Baton Rouge. Moderate Risk just to our NW.

A Tornado Warning has been issued for parts of St. Martin Parish. One has also been issued for Pointe Coupee until 11 a.m.

A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Northern Tangipahoa, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, St. John The Baptist, Upper Lafourche, Upper St. Martin, West Baton and West Feliciana parishes. Watches have also been issued in Amite, Lawerence, Pike, and Wilkinson, MS. 

4:45 a.m. - A  Wind Advisory for Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Livingston, Lower Lafourche, Lower Terrebonne, Southern Tangipahoa, St. James, St. John The Baptist, Upper Lafourche, Upper Terrebonne & West Baton Rouge Parishes until 10:00 a.m. Monday.

Models project widespread 2" rainfall totals for Sunday, but the national weather service is estimating 3-6" of rainfall. There will be a threat for severe upgraded to enhanced throughout the day.
