BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Capital Area Law Enforcement Foundation is holding a golf event to raise money to buy Louisiana law enforcement more bulletproof vests.
The Calef Golf Classic will be held on May 1, 2017 from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. There will also be a VIP kickoff event on Sunday, April 30 at Sullivan's Steakhouse.
The entry fee for the event is $1,500 per 4-man team. Entry is limited to 72 teams.
The Capital Area Law Enforcement Foundation will use the funds to purchase safety equipment, such as bulletproof vests, for law enforcement in our area. It will also assist the families of law enforcement in times of crisis, natural disaster or other times of need.
