Author hosts event to honor Jarrius 'Little JJ' Robertson and release his LSU football cards

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A teen who isn't letting liver disease stop him from being a huge fan of LSU sports, the New Orleans Saints, and other Louisiana teams is getting his own trading cards.

An event honoring Jarrius "Little JJ" Robertson was held at the Walk-On's on Burbank Dr. in Baton Rouge Tuesday.

His LSU football cards were released at the event. The cards will promote organ and tissue donation.

The event was hosted by author Jeffrey Marx with a presentation by former LSU football stars, Corey Webster and Marcus Randall.

Robertson was diagnosed with biliary atresia, a chronic liver disease.

Before the event, Robertson attended practices with both LSU's football and baseball teams.
