BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man has been arrested following an investigation by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office in reference to the delivery and sale of 2.6 pounds of marijuana edibles.
Detectives arrested Terrell Booker Sr., 26, after he allegedly brought his 3-year-old son with him while selling marijuana edibles. A search warrant was obtained for Booker's vehicle and home. On March 13, detectives seized the following items from Booker: 8 bags (23g) of marijuana, $1,095 in U.S. currency, 3.5 lbs of edibles, and a stolen Smith and Wesson pistol with four magazines and 16 live ammunition rounds.
After being read his Miranda rights, Booker reportedly admitted to making and selling the edibles and admitted to possession of the pistol. Booker is charged with distributing marijuana edibles, possession with intent to distribute marijuana edibles, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile.
