LSU pitcher Jared Poche' and second baseman Cole Freeman earned National and SEC honors after an incredible week of baseball.
Poche' was named one of Collegiate Baseball's National Players of the Week after pitching another seven innings of scoreless baseball against Wichita State. The senior upped his record to 4-0 and has not allowed a run this season in 29 innings pitched.
Freeman earned SEC Co-Player of the Week honors after hitting .500 (8-for-16) in four games last week. The senior finished the week with two doubles, two RBI, one stolen base and scored seven runs.
Freeman shared the honor with Robbie Glendinning of Missouri.
