CRIME STOPPERS: Man wanted for residential contractor fraud

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office is seeking a man wanted for two counts of residential contractor fraud.

Edward J. Belin, 56, is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 155 lbs and is 5' 8" tall.

In November of 2016, two Livingston Parish homeowners entered into an agreement with Belin to make repairs to their flood-damaged homes. Officials say in both cases, Belin was paid money for work he never completed. The homeowners tried numerous times to contact Belin, but were unsuccessful. 

The Louisiana State Board of Contractors advised that Belin does not have the required license for perform home improvements in Louisiana.
