Residents of District 15 invited to community meetings

(WAFB) - State Senator Regina Barrow, along with other elected officials, is hosting a series of community meetings in District 15 to address a wide variety of issues.

Representatives from the following agencies have been invited to answer residents' questions:

  • Department of Health
  • Department of Education
  • Department of Environmental Quality
  • Department of Children and Family Services
  • Department of Revenue
  • Governor's Office
  • Office of Community Development
  • Congressional offices
  • LA Spirit
  • Attorney General's office

Senator Barrow is encouraging residents to attend on of the these meetings to take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about important state issues and to have their voices heard. The meetings are scheduled as follows:

  • March 13 - 5:30 p.m.: St. Mark United Methodist Church, 6217 Glen Oaks Dr., Baton Rouge
  • March 18 - 10 a.m.: Fairwood Branch Library, 12910 Old Hammond Hwy., Baton Rouge
  • March 20 - 5:30 p.m.: Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1414 Sora St., Baton Rouge
  • March 27 - 5:30 p.m.: Baker Municipal Center, 3325 Groom Rd., Baker
  • March 28 - 5:30 p.m.: Zachary Americana YMCA, 4200 Liberty Way, Zachary
