BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - There is some good news for hundreds of parents in the Baton Rouge area.
The doors officially opened Tuesday on the new NHS Autism Center. Parents got a chance to tour the facility, meet the staff and see what the school has to offer.
Officials said not only will the school provide educational services for ages 5 to 21, but also a wide range of other services, like speech and occupational therapy.
The center will also offer a developmental preschool for kids ages 3 to 5.
