WEATHER:

Keep the umbrellas nearby, as scattered showers will stay in the forecast not only today but for your weekend ahead. Starting out this morning, there are a few isolated showers on FIRST ALERT Doppler radar but coverage will increase later this afternoon to 50 percent and some thunderstorms will be possible as well. Also, expect it to be a hot and steamy day, with a high of 93. Overnight, skies will be partly cloudy and there could be spotty rain, with a low in the mid-70s. Saturday AND Sunday will have the same basic forecast of a 50 percent to 60 percent coverage of showers/storms with daytime temperatures topping out in the lower 90s.
