BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Leaders with the Capital Area Transit System (CATS) will be sitting down to talk money Tuesday afternoon.
The Board of Commissioners is expected to go over its budget just months after board members voted to shut down some of its less profitable lines, such as the Red Stick Trolley.
During the meeting board members are expected to lay out where their priorities will be for the upcoming year.
Another topic that could come up is last night's unexpected shut down of a few bus routes. The shutdown left about 20 people stranded.
Officials say they did not have a driver to take the remaining routes so they canceled bus service to Acadian, Fairfield and Gus Young.
Those routes are expected to be up and running Tuesday.
The meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the BREC administrative building on Florida Blvd.
