BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Improved roads, expansions, and pitches for new airlines are all in the Baton Rouge Airport's plans next year.
The interim director, Ralph Hennessey, revealed the details at a news conference Friday morning.
The airport added two larger regional jets this year and is looking forward to being able to offer first class seating again in the future.
Discussions of more direct flights to bigger cities are already underway.
The airport property will also get some upgrades next year. Passengers can look for a new taxiway and more bathrooms near their gates as they wait on their flights.
