BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Gov. John Bel Edwards will make another trip to Washington, DC to push for federal aid for Louisiana's flood recovery.
The governor's office said he'll leave Wednesday and return to Louisiana on Friday.
So far, Louisiana has received more than $400 million in disaster relief money from Congress. However, the governor said he needs at least $4 billion.
Edwards is set to meet with Louisiana's congressional delegation Thursday.
He'll also sit down with House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi.
