Armed and dangerous suspect arrested for W. Baton Rouge shooting

PORT ALLEN, LA (WAFB) -

Officials confirm that a man wanted in connection to a shooting in West Baton Rouge Parish has been arrested. 

Sheriff Mike Cazes confirms that deputies have arrested Samuel Tullos, 41, of Tickwaw. He was arrested in Tangipahoa Parish. 

Officials say Tullos was wanted in connection with a shooting that sent a man to the hospital on Friday, November 25. The incident happened on Lobdell Hightway in Port Allen.

On Monday, officials issued an alert to the media identifying Tullos as a suspect and described him as "armed and dangerous." 

Deputies have also arrested Joseph Foy, 27, of Ponchatoula. He's charged with attempted second-degree murder.

The victim is still in the hospital in serious condition, but is expected to live.
