Deputies ask for public's help to find missing girl

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Authorities are asking for the public’s help to find a missing teen.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office said Katlyn Patterson, 14, of Baton Rouge, is about 5’2” tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and black, shoulder-length hair.

Investigators said she was last seen by her family at her home in the Gardere Lane area. They added that was late Friday night.

She was allegedly also seen walking along McClelland Drive in Baton Rouge early Saturday morning. According to reports, she was wearing a gray shirt and yellow jeans.

Deputies said they do not believe the teen has a cell phone with her.
