Officials seeking two men in altercation resulting in shots fired

The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is seeking two men, Michael Lewis of Belle Rose and Joshua Hebert of Donaldsonville, after an altercation resulted in shots being fired on Monday, November 21.

Lewis is wanted on charges of attempted second degree murder, illegal use of dangerous weapons, and disturbing the peace after allegedly pulling out a handgun during an altercation that occurred near St. Patrick St. and Marchand Dr. in Donaldsonville. Lewis allegedly began shooting at Herbert as he fled the scene, officials say.

Herbert is wanted for disturbing the peace.

According to officials, Lewis fled the scene when they arrived. The reason for the altercation is currently unknown.
