Paradise Island, Bahamas (WAFB) - Talk about a rough start to the Battle 4 Atlantis for the Tigers.
LSU (3-1) was outscored 46-19 in the first half and never rebounded, losing to the Wichita State Shockers 82-47 on Wednesday in the opening game.
Antonio Blakeney led the Tigers with 12 points and seven rebounds. Duop Reath scored 11 points and grabbed two boards.
LSU had a hard time making a basket, shooting 28.1% from the floor (18 of 64) and 16.7% from the 3-point line (4 of 24). The Tigers were also out rebounded 51-39 by the Shockers.
Landry Shamet led the Shockers (5-0) scoring attack with 16 points.
The Tigers will play the Louisville-Old Dominion loser on Thursday.
