GONZALES, LA (WAFB) - Jamar Jones and Kevin Ross have both been indicted on second degree murder charges.
The two 18-year-old suspects were arrested back in July in connection with a body found in a Gonzales canal, according to authorities.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office reported Jones and Ross, both of Gonzales, are charged with first-degree murder and obstruction of justice. The pair is accused of being responsible for the shooting death of Alex Rubio, 18, of Gonzales. Chief Deputy Bobby Webre with APSO said that Rubio had been shot twice in the head by a small caliber handgun.
