The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a shooting Monday afternoon after a victim was located on 4941 Byron Ave.
According to officials, the victim, a man in his 20s, sustained non-life threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition.
Officials with BRPD believe the victim's injuries may have been self-inflicted and possibly accidental.
