Former NFL/LSU football player gives back flood victims in hometown

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A former NFL and LSU player is giving back to his hometown of Baker.

Karl Wilson's NOLAH foundation has collected supplies for flood victims. On Thursday, Nov. 10, Wilson arrived in town with an 18-wheeler to help distribute to members of the community affected by the flood.

The California-based organization collected eight trucks worth of supplies.

"It was just devastating to see what happened during this flood," said Wilson. "I called my people up in San Diego who are fellow LSU alums also, so I told them about it, and we just had to do something. So we're just very excited about helping people out in the Baton Rouge area."
