LSU will host a balanced Alabama team Saturday night in Death Valley.
First, we looked at just how explosive the Tide's offense has been this season under Lane Kiffin.
Now, we look at what Alabama is known for, defense, and they have a very impressive unit once again this year.
The defense, as you will see, spends a lot of time in the opponent's offensive backfield and loves creating turnovers.
Here's a look at some of the defensive stars for Bama:
Reuben Foster, an explosive linebacker, has 53 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss.
Defensive lineman Jonathan Allen leads the team with six sacks and 10 quarterback hurries. He has 35 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries.
Senior linebacker Ryan Anderson has 29 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.
Baton Rouge native Tim Williams has 6.5 sacks, 9.5 tackles for loss, eight quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles.
Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick leads the team with three interceptions. He has 29 tackles, 1.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. Fitzpatrick will move to safety against LSU, replacing injured All-American Eddie Jackson.
Only two teams have scored more than 14 points against the Tide. Both teams passed for 400 or more yards.
