Third suspect arrested in Renaissance Center murder case

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A third suspect, Alvin James Donahue Jr., 19, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Youlanda Hunter on October 5.

The report states that Donahue and two other suspects, Marquise Dashon Bailey, 18, and Donnie Tyler, 18, entered the Renaissance Center on Plank Rd. with the intent to commit armed robbery. During the course of the robbery, Donahue allegedly chased Hunter down a hallway inside the building and fired multiple shots into her body, which resulted in her death. After the robbery, Donahue and the other two suspects reportedly fled the scene on foot.

Donahue was identified by one of the other suspects in a six person photographic lineup. He is charged with first degree murder.
