BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - According to the Governor's Office, the flooded Governor's mansion should be move-in ready by the end of November.
Louisiana's first family was forced to leave the mansion during the August flooding. The basement took on chest-high water, which damaged electrical systems in the house.
The cost of the damage to the mansion was around $1 million. The Governor's Office says repair work is being covered by insurance and FEMA.
