LSU running back Leonard Fournette and center Ethan Pocic were named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week and the Offensive Lineman of the Week, respectively.
In his first action since Sept. 24, Fournette ran up and down the field against the Ole Miss defense, rushing for 284 yards on just 16 carries. The junior scored on touchdowns runs of 59, 76 and 78 yards, while averaging 17.8 yards per carry. He also had three receptions for 25 yards.
Pocic played every snap and led the team with 12 knockdown blocks. He graded out with a career-best 97 percent and played a key role in the Tiger offense racking up 515 total yards against the Rebels.
LSU is back in action on Saturday, Nov. 5, when the Tigers welcome the Crimson Tide into Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and the game will air on CBS.
