Five people are behind bars for allegedly breaking into many vehicles in Livingston Parish.

Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard said two vehicles were burglarized in the Watson area of Livingston Parish. The sheriff's office estimates more than $1,000 worth of items were taken, including tools, gas generator and car stereo.

The five individuals were arrested during a traffic stop on Fore Road near Watson.

"A witness, able to provide us with detailed information, led us to these suspects and the stolen property," Ard noted. "We are grateful that our citizens choose to work with us to solve crimes in Livingston Parish."

Dillon Booth, 20; David Monroe, 19; Destiny Parker, 17; and Landon Keller, 26, were booked into the Livingston Parish Prison on charges of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and simple burglary. All five are being held on $55,000 bond.

He found a family of 11 in Prairie, Mississippi, all coming home for Thanksgiving. All nine children had memories of a sharecropper's cabin and nothing to wear and nothing to eat. All nine are college graduates.
