ASCENSION PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Ascension Parish school leaders say bids for temporary buildings on those campuses will go out this week.
The hope is for students to return to their original schools.
Following the flood, school leaders made plans to send displaced students to a host campus. However, they said that's causing transportation and logistical issues.
Superintendent David Alexander said temporary buildings should fill the gap while crews repair damaged school campuses.
