DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (WAFB) - The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's help locating three suspects who allegedly purchased merchandise using counterfeit $100 bills.
On October 3, just after 8 p.m., officials say two males and one female, accompanied by a small child, entered a store in Denham Springs on Hwy. 16 and each separately purchased a pack of t-shirts using counterfeit $100 bills.
That same day, the same suspects allegedly passed counterfeit money at another retailer in Denham Springs on Walker South Rd. They then attempted to pass the counterfeit money at a third location, also on Hwy. 16. The cashier at the third location recognized the bills as counterfeit and refused to accept them.
