BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The City of Baton Rouge is launching the "Green Park" initiative that will bring charging stations to downtown Baton Rouge to promote the use of eco-friendly electric vehicles.
City officials will host a 11 a.m. news conference on Monday at the North Boulevard Town Square to launch the program.
The program currently provides 10 charging stations across five locations in Downtown Baton Rouge. The plan is to install 45 total charging stations in the city-parish.
