After a surprising and disappointing week off, the Tigers are back in action Saturday against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. in Tiger Stadium and the game will air on the SEC Network.
The Eagles come in with a high-flying offense that averages 532 yards per game and a 4-2 record.

Players to watch for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles:
Nick Mullens leads the high-scoring Golden Eagles offense. This season Mullins has completed 123 of 210 passing attempts for 1874 yards and 16 touchdowns. He has eight interceptions and is averaging 312 yards passing per game.
Ito Smith has carried the ball 119 times for 711 yards and six touchdowns. Smith averages 6 yards per carry and 118.5 yards per game.
George Payne has 336 yards rushing on 58 carries and one touchdown. He is averaging 5.8 yards per carry and 56 yards per game.
Senior wide receiver D.J. Thompson leads the team with 25 catches for 291 yards and four touchdowns.
Allenzae Staggers has 23 receptions for 562 and five touchdowns this year.
Not only does Ito Smith lead the team in rushing, he also has 19 catches, 176 yards and one touchdown out of the backfield.
Dylan Bradley: Keep an eye on this senior defensive lineman. This season he has 39 total tackles, five sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Curtis Mikell: The junior defense back has 19 total tackles, two sacks, two interceptions and one forced fumble.
LSU'S KEYS TO THE GAME:
Defense needs to slow down the quick pace of the Golden Eagles offense .
The offensive line needs to avoid injuries and stay healthy.
Danny Etling needs to hit the down-field pass early to open up the run game.
Run the ball and control the clock on offense.
