Police release surveillance picture of man who robbed Chase Bank on Florida Blvd

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Police are asking people to be on the lookout for a bank robber.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported the man pictured robbed the Chase Bank on Florida Boulevard near Lobdell Avenue around 9 a.m.

Detectives said the man walked in, went to a teller window and handed the teller a note demanding money. They added he walked away after being given an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as 6’1” or 6’2” tall. He is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old. He was wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the bank robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
