BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Taylor Swift continues to give to help following the historic August floods.
Swift gave $100,000 to help Habitat for Humanity in Baton Rouge. Volunteers with the organization continue to gut homes every day and still have more than 1,000 people waiting for help.
Habitat for Humanity is also hoping to help rebuild 100 homes by the end of next year.
Swift also donated to the YWCA to help restore their early head start facility that was damaged in the flood.
Since the flooding, Swift has donated more than $1 million to flood relief, including donations to school systems in Ascension Parish, Central and Livingston Parish.
