BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A man had to get 65 stitches in his face after he was attacked by two men outside a bar in Zachary. The entire incident was reportedly caught on camera.

According to the probable cause report, the victim was standing outside the TNT Bar on Hwy 19 shortly after midnight on Saturday, Sept. 24 when two men approached him.

"I observed the first suspect, wearing a neon green cutoff t-shirt, strike the victim," the Zachary police officer noted in the report. The victim staggered backwards and the second suspect who has a dark goatee, wearing a blue sleeveless shirt with stars, and a red hat, struck the victim in the face. The victim then fell to the ground."

The report also notes that the victim claimed to have been hit with a broken been bottle and the officer reported that he had a large "V-shaped" cut in the middle of his forehead.

Witnesses identified the two attackers as Donald "Bubba" Pope and Chris Hensley.

Pope was arrested Saturday evening and was charged with second-degree battery. When questioned, he allegedly admitted to hitting the victim but claims he slapped him with an open hand.

Pope is being held on a $15,000 bond.

According to jail records, Hensley has not yet been arrested.
