LSU head coach Les Miles said running back Leonard Fournette is showing no signs of swelling and is good to go for Auburn.
"It was nice to see Leonard back, No. 7 is running like he would run. He'll get nothing but better," Miles said during his weekly Monday press conference. "I think he's kinda getting a little of the rust off and looking forward to these series of games that can make a difference. The ankle feels good, apparently, I'm told. There was no swelling. So we are full speed ahead."
Fournette finished the night against Mississippi State with 147 yards on 28 carries and two touchdowns.
In two games this season, the junior has run for 285 yards and two touchdowns. He has also caught seven passes for 65 yards.
LSU and Auburn will kickoff at 5 p.m. from Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, AL on Saturday.
