BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Detectives have released surveillance pictures of three men who stole thousands of dollars' worth of merchandise from a store during the historic floods in August.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office reported the group looted the Walmart on O'Neal Lane on August 14.
According to investigators, the suspects waded through waist-high water to get to the store. It is believed they got in through the front emergency door.
Deputies said the suspects targeted the jewelry and electronics departments. They added the thieves got away with more than $34,000 in items.
