BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Capital Area Transit System is operating limited service to most of its lines on Wednesday, following the flooding in the city. CATS continues to support rescue and evacuation efforts in conjunction with local leaders.

Service has been restored to most routes, but trips are limited and buses are not running as regularly as they normally do. Riders should consult RouteMatch or the Cats Trax system on www.brcats.com to determine schedules.

CATS is evaluating road conditions and staffing levels as it decides which routes to operate at this time. The safety of CATS operators and riders is its top concern.
