Crime Stoppers: Man accused of robbing Burger King at gunpoint

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Police are trying to find a man who they say held up a fast food restaurant at gunpoint on July 25.

Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers reported Marcus Ellis, 34, of Baton Rouge, is wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department.

He is described as 6'1" and 175 pounds.

He is accused of robbing the Burger King on South Sherwood Forest Boulevard near North Harrells Ferry Road.

Authorities said he is also wanted by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office for failing to appear in court on June 6.

They added Ellis was scheduled to be arraigned on an unrelated charge of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
