BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

His face is blocked, but investigators hope these surveillance photos will help them identify a gun-wielding robber.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office said it happened at the Dollar General on South Harrells Ferry Road near O’Neal Lane around 9:45 p.m.

Deputies said the armed robber walked in, went to the office and pointed a silver and black pistol at the manager, who was holding a cash drawer and about to put it into the safe.

"Give it to me," the robber reportedly said three times to the manager.

According to EBRSO, the suspect then grabbed an unknown amount of money from the drawer. Investigators said he then wanted more money and took the deposit money from the desk in the office.

The suspect is described as husky with broad shoulders. Authorities believe he is between mid-20s and mid-30s.

Anyone with information about the armed robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
