BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - It was a friendly reminder of the support pouring in for law enforcement in the Baton Rouge area.
Several Jeeps rode through the LSU campus in support of police officers and deputies Saturday afternoon, making a final stop at the Cabela's store in Gonzales. The group had flags in tow and carried blue bows. They say it's about their family supporting other local families.
"I told my wife about halfway through this thing, this has to be one of the best things i think i've ever done in my life. We had a great time. Everybody donated. I think it shows a lot of support for the Baton Rouge police officers."
Some of the Jeep drivers came from as far away as Texas and Monroe. Their goal was to raise money for law enforcement.
