PIERRE PART, LA (WAFB) -

A borrowed cell phone at a camp eventually resulted in the arrest of a man accused of inappropriate behavior with a teen girl, according to officials.

The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Charles Stroughter, 48, of Pride, is charged with felony indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Sheriff Leland Falcon said someone borrowed the victim’s phone and allegedly saw "sexually-oriented" text messages.

He added the girl said Stroughter had performed several sex acts on her.
