BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Part bike race, part food drive, all for a good cause.
On Saturday, July 23, Bike Baton Rouge is hosting the Be Cool Bike Food Drive to support the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
The food drive is a will follow the same format as their Cranksgiving food drive. Bikers will all start off at Spanish Town park, before racing between five different grocery stores purchasing different food to donate.
Bike Baton Rouge recommends participants bring their bikes, a bike lock, a way to carry your donations, and about $20.
Registration is free and winners will be selected for best and worst times, distances, and dollar totals.
