Officials release procession details for Officer Matthew Gerald's funeral services

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Baton Rouge Police Department has released details about the procession for Officer Matthew Gerald on Friday.

Sgt. Don Coppola Jr. said the procession will leave Healing Place Church, which is located at 19202 Highland Road, proceed south on Highland Road to I-10. It will travel on I-10 West to I-110 North. The procession will then exit I-110 and proceed north on US 61 (Scenic Highway) to West Mount Pleasant Zachary Road and proceed west to the Louisiana National Cemetery.

Coppola reminded people who plan to line the roads to show their support to please keep the roads clear.
